Early Steps Vision, Value & Aims

Over the next few months we are going to start looking at the development of a new Vision, Value & Aims for Early Steps based on our ethos today.

It is important that we have as many stakeholders involved in this process as possible to ensure that we do "Get it Right for Every Child". It is particularly important that we are able to gather your views and ideas as each and every one of our families plays is a big part of the type of establishment we strive to have.

My intention is to set up a working group of parents/carers. Can you please let me know if this is something that you would be interested in getting involved with.

Our full staff team will also be involved in this process and of course we will include the children's voice - as UNCRC Article 12 states;

"Every child has the right to express their views, feelings and wishes in all matters affecting them, and to have their views considered and taken seriously. This right applies at all times, for example during immigration proceedings, housing decisions or the child’s day-to-day home life."
